Use tools for a specific physical job and verify the current Research page before spending Gold. The current verified early heat unlock is Flamethrower at 400 Gold.
Use controlled Fire
The Flamethrower provides Fire for heating Water, melting Ice, and burning Residue. Build a separated chamber so Fire cannot spread into Water storage or another active material stream.
Match the tool to the material state
Use heat when a transformation requires Fire or Steam. Use movement tools when the problem is location, and sorting infrastructure when the problem is a mixed stream; replacing one problem with the wrong tool adds another blockage.
Recheck later unlocks instead of copying Demo costs
The previous guide listed older tier names and costs that no longer match the current Research page. This revision keeps only verified current figures and leaves later tool costs out until they are independently confirmed.
