Sandustry Pyramid Guide: Can You Enter It?

Quick Answer

Official material does not document an entrance, reward, or intended way through the Pyramid. Recent reports say Limestone, nearby Sandstone, and reforming Dune resist normal tools, so the reliable current answer is that it is not yet an intended accessible area.

What is actually confirmed

Sandustry is in Early Access. The official store plans more buildings, resources, production chains, quests, biomes, and technologies as players go deeper, but it does not document a Pyramid entrance or reward.

The official Wiki lists Dune and Limestone as terrain materials but has no dedicated Pyramid article or access sequence. An exact route, boss, artifact, or reward would therefore be speculation.

Can you enter the Pyramid now?

The best-supported answer is no through normal intended play. In a recent discussion, a player tested several late-game tools against the Limestone Pyramid and nearby Sandstone without success; independent replies agreed that the area is not currently solvable.

This is community observation, not an official specification. Matching reports make it useful, but it remains version-sensitive and should be rechecked after patches.

Why the terrain blocks progress

Players report that Limestone and Sandstone take no meaningful damage from the tools they tested. They also report that disturbed Dune reforms and cannot then be moved by Conveyors or Launchers.

Official sources reviewed here publish no required tool tier, counter-material, or opening reaction. Do not waste resources following an invented weapon order.

Is it future content?

Steam confirms that more deep-planet content is planned but does not name the Pyramid. A player reproduced the current-content end message referring to ancient secrets beneath the dunes in upcoming updates, and the discussion interpreted the Pyramid as later content.

That interpretation fits the barriers and roadmap, but it is not a developer announcement for a specific Pyramid patch. No date, unlock tier, entrance, or reward is confirmed.

What to do instead

Treat the Pyramid as a current version boundary rather than a mandatory hidden dungeon. Continue documented production, research, and exploration, and return after patch notes explicitly change Dune, Sandstone, Limestone, or Pyramid access.

Avoid exploit routes and hidden-reward claims: the official material used here does not support them, and exploits may stop working or harm saves.
